Overheard in Kindergarten class:

5 year old boy upon seeing snow falling while heading out for recess: Spring in Minnesota is bullshit.

5 year old girl: What’s spring?

I used to see the flamboyant Baton Bob (Bob Jamerson) strutting down Kingshighway in St. Louis while I drove to work in the early 2000s. He always raised my spirits and made me smile.

He’s moved on to Atlanta, but still continues his mission as the “Ambassador of Mirth.”
