In honor of my upcoming trip to Ireland:

Calm down, Mom and Dad! It’s just henna and is not permanent.

Mum and I are going away in September. More on that later.

PS: Today…the weather…it is 57 degrees F! I’m loving it.

Yep, 35 today.

Was looking through some old photos and found this one from New Year’s Eve 1999. Greg and I had gone to the Florida Keys to celebrate. Unfortunately, he had the stomach flu, so I spent most of the evening eating Chinese delivery and watching cable while he slept. He insisted I get him up for midnight, however. We got gussied up, took this photo, and went down to the docks to watch fireworks.

Weather:

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

Southerly winds at 30 to 40 mph with higher gusts to 50 mph will
continue across the advisory area through the remainder of the
afternoon. In addition… blowing dirt and dust has been observed
across much of the advisory area and will likely continue through
early evening. Winds will slowly subside during the evening across
the region.

Precautionary/preparedness actions…

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult… especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

yesterday… Tuesday may 19 2009.

This breaks the old record of 94 set in 1975.
